Summary

On September 1, 2014, a witness in the French region of Cher observed a luminous point moving in a straight line across the sky. The witness was drawn to the sound of an airplane, but no other testimonies or recordings were available. The observation occurred during the day, which complicates the identification of the object, as sunlight reflections on planes or satellites could explain bright points. Although Flightradar recorded several airplanes crossing the area, none matched the direction indicated by the witness.
