Summary

A witness in Crozon, France, reported seeing a triangular object moving slowly with a gentle swaying motion. Using binoculars, they described a royal blue color as the object passed overhead. The object moved silently from northwest to southeast, staying under the clouds. Although only one testimony was collected, weather conditions matched the object’s movement, suggesting it was carried by the wind. However, the shape and timing did not align with a hot air balloon, which typically flies under different conditions. Additionally, the area is unsuitable for such aircraft due to nearby military sites. Finally, the estimated size of the object was very small, pointing to a child's balloon, possibly metallic, possibly released near a fair in the area. The GEIPAN classified the case as likely a helium balloon.
