In May 2015, a witness reported an observation that likely took place in July or August 2004, around 1:40 PM, on the D6009 road near Peyriac-de-Mer. While driving, the witness saw a yellow circular object appear near the windshield. The observer stopped and watched as the object crossed the road at less than a meter above green vineyards, without disturbing them. After crossing the A9 highway, the object ascended vertically and then continued horizontally over vehicles and a slope, disappearing behind it. The object made no noise and there were no other witnesses. Although the case shows some strangeness due to the proximity and unusual behavior, its consistency is low due to lack of precise data and external confirmations.
The only plausible hypothesis, a ball of fire, cannot be confirmed. The case was ultimately classified as C due to insufficient information. Despite this, the detailed description and unusual behavior make it an interesting testimony in the study of unexplained phenomena.
