Summary

In November 2012, a witness in Feuquières-en-Vimeu observed a triangular object with yellow and orange lights. The object moved slowly and silently, then turned 90 degrees and sped away westward. In 2015, the GEIPAN analyzed the report and concluded it was likely a procession of Thai lanterns. The lights matched their color, the behavior aligned with their movement in light wind conditions, and the short duration matched the lifespan of the lanterns. Additionally, the date and number of observed objects fit with typical celebrations of this kind.
