UFO seen in Jonquières in 2013

Summary

On April 28, 2013, a driver and her passenger observed a whitish light moving in a repetitive and sinuous pattern in the sky at low altitude. The phenomenon was first noticed while driving on the highway, prompting the driver to stop at a nearby rest area. There, for an hour, both remained in the vehicle observing the object, which moved between two trees about twenty meters apart. The light made no sound and left no trail, and its size and distance were hard to estimate. The weather in the area showed a completely overcast sky, no precipitation, good visibility, and moderate wind. The location, a rural and Mediterranean landscape, was near vineyards and wine castles. Despite various hypotheses, the GEIPAN concluded that the phenomenon was a light display, likely from the Château de Jonquières, although confirmation from the owner was not possible.
