Summary

On August 22, 2014, a witness in Autun (France) heard two shouts in the night and, looking out from a rooftop window, saw for a few seconds a metallic disk surrounded by small reddish light beams. The silent object moved quickly through the cloudy sky for about 20 seconds. Although the testimony is detailed, there are no other witnesses or images. The GEIPAN concluded it was likely a set of laser beams, such as "Skytrackers," projected at the base of a low cloud layer.

The case was classified as "B," indicating a common observation without unusual elements. Despite the object's mysterious appearance, its behavior turned out to be quite ordinary.
