Triangular UFO in Thonon-les-Bains

Summary

On September 1, 2014, a witness in Thonon-les-Bains observed a triangular object with six white points moving slowly at low altitude from the fifth floor of a building. The event, which lasted only a few seconds between 11:30 PM and 11:40 PM, was silent and uneventful, with no other witnesses. The GEIPAN investigated and concluded that the object was likely a group of birds, either migratory geese heading toward the eastern part of Lake Leman or local swans disturbed by concert noise.
