On September 21, 2014, a driver and passengers observed an unknown light in the sky. The light blinked regularly and remained still, causing confusion. Only one witness account was collected. Objective elements suggested the light could be from the nighttime signaling of wind turbines. Good visibility allowed the lights to be seen from the observer's position.
The report also noted a reflection from an Iridium satellite, detected by Calsky, matching the time and location of the observation. This reflection, with a magnitude of -7.0, is typical of satellite flares and disappeared quickly, as expected. Finally, the GEIPAN concluded the case involved two groups of wind turbines and an Iridium satellite. The "A" classification indicates a certain observation of these phenomena.
