In October 2014, a witness and his brother-in-law in Orleans, France, observed a dark triangular object with red lights at each corner. The phenomenon moved silently in a straight line above their garden. Initially appearing as a single object, it soon formed a clear triangle. Due to the lack of noise, shape, and red color, investigators considered the possibility of three Chinese lanterns. However, the testimony was unique and lacked critical data such as the exact direction of movement. Therefore, the GEIPAN classified this case as category C due to the low consistency of the report.
