On November 29, 2014, around 11:15 PM, a witness in Savigny-sur-Braye observed a bright yellow object moving silently and quickly in a straight line across the sky. The object traveled from west to east, from left to right, without any other witnesses. Although it might initially seem like an unusual aerial phenomenon, the GEIPAN analysis suggests it could be a Thai lantern released after a private party. The wind recorded in the area that day, coming from the northeast, aligns with the direction observed, supporting the hypothesis of a ground-based object carried by the wind. Despite its simplicity, the detailed description from the witness and the weather conditions make this report interesting.
