Summary

On December 25, 2014, a witness observed two orange lights moving across the sky. Both followed the same trajectory, with a few seconds apart. Although only one testimony was collected, the description of the lights crossing the sky on a festive night strongly suggests they were Thai lanterns. The movement was from the southwest to the east, matching the recorded west wind in the area. The GEIPAN classified the case as "B", indicating a likely observation of these lanterns, which were probably flying at low altitude, around 50 meters.
