In December 2014, a witness in Saint-Nolff (France) claimed to have seen a yellow, oval-shaped object moving silently above the trees. According to his account, the object remained visible for 5 to 10 minutes before disappearing quickly. However, the photo he presented as evidence turned out to be a cropped version of an image taken in 1981 by a Mexican photographer. This immediately raised suspicions. Moreover, the witness failed to provide clear or detailed information during the investigation, making it difficult to verify his claims. Ultimately, the GEIPAN concluded that the case was a hoax, meaning a deliberate fabrication or prank.
