On January 5, 2015, a witness in the Var region of France observed a luminous phenomenon in white, blue, and green colors that quickly crossed the sky, leaving a clear trail. The witness described a bright point moving rapidly across the sky within seconds. This event, classified as "A" by the GEIPAN, corresponds to the atmospheric entry of a meteoroid. The phenomenon, according to the report, has all the characteristics of a fireball, that is, a meteorite burning upon entering Earth's atmosphere.
