On April 13, 2015, between 22:10 and 23:30, a witness observed multicolored luminous objects in the sky. The objects moved slowly, following Earth's rotation, suggesting they could be stars or planets. However, the witness's description lacked precise location, though Procyon and Capella were considered. The unusual aspect was the changing colors and a shape resembling a sea urchin.
Weather conditions that day were unusual for the season, with temperatures of 27°C, causing atmospheric turbulence and strong twinkling. The witness used 10x25 binoculars, not ideal for astronomical observation. These can distort color and shape, especially with high magnification. The GEIPAN classified the case as type B, attributing it to celestial observation. A more detailed testimony could have clarified the exact identity of the observed objects.
