Summary

In May 2015, a witness in Petite-Roselle observed between 12 and 15 bright objects in the sky. These were round in shape and light in color, arranged in a semicircle. The phenomenon lasted two minutes and was silent. Although the testimony is unique and brief, it is considered possibly linked to festival lights, such as traditional Thai lanterns. However, the lack of details prevents a more precise classification.

The GEIPAN, the French organization that investigates unidentified aerial phenomena, classified the case as "C", meaning insufficient information for a conclusive analysis. Despite the geometric arrangement of the objects, a conventional explanation cannot be ruled out. This case illustrates how night-time observations can be ambiguous and difficult to interpret without further data.
