On June 14, 2015, a witness in Neully-les-Dijon observed between 7 and 8 spherical, orange-colored luminous objects moving silently across the sky. The phenomenon lasted about 10 minutes before the objects disappeared into the clouds. The witness managed to take photographs, but they turned out to be unusable. No other testimonies or explanations were found in local media. The most plausible hypothesis points to Thai lanterns, often released during private celebrations. However, the direction of the objects and weather conditions do not confirm this theory. Meteorological data showed variable and light winds, making it difficult to draw any definitive conclusions. Additionally, radar data only showed commercial aircraft at high altitudes. Due to the lack of conclusive evidence, the case was classified as "C".
