On July 3, 2015, a witness in Cueron (France) observed four bright points aligned vertically and slightly tilted to the right in the dark night. The objects then split into two groups and moved differently before disappearing. After checking with Calsky data, two pairs of satellites were identified: USA 62/NOSS 2-1C and USA 62/NOSS 2-1B, along with the ADEOS 2 H2A Rocket and a Yaogan 1 LM Rocket fragment. Although they appeared to move together, they were at very different altitudes. The witness, during a public lighting blackout, had a clear view of this rare event. Additionally, a few minutes earlier, another pair of satellites (Cosmos 1689 Rocket and Landsat 5) was also visible. This time of year is favorable for observing satellites along north-south trajectories. The GEIPAN classified the case as "A," meaning it was explained as an astronomical phenomenon.
