Summary

On July 9, 2015, a witness in Villeuneuve-Tolosane observed a white spherical object hovering in the air. The object moved unpredictably: it advanced, retreated, shifted left and right, and then rapidly ascended in a straight line before disappearing. The event lasted three minutes and no sound was heard. There was only one witness. The GEIPAN considered the possibility of a child's balloon, first tethered and then released, either intentionally or not. However, due to the lack of photographic or video evidence and additional testimonies, this hypothesis remains unconfirmed. Although plausible, the case was classified as "C" due to insufficient data and corroboration.

The meteorological report noted a sustained northwest wind in the area, which could have influenced the object's movement if it were a balloon. However, without visual evidence or multiple witnesses, this theory cannot be verified. The case remains unresolved due to the lack of conclusive information.
