UFO observed in Saint-Martin-de-Peille in 2015

Summary

In July 2015, two people in Saint-Martin-de-Peille observed a luminous object in the sky. The object was moving slowly from north to south and displayed lights of different colors. A motor-like noise, similar to that of an airplane, was heard. The phenomenon lasted between 4 and 7 minutes. Although only one official testimony was submitted, the GEIPAN concluded that it was likely a helicopter. The observed elements, such as the lights and sound, matched those of conventional aircraft. Due to the low strangeness of the case, no further investigations were conducted with the gendarmerie or air traffic control.
