On August 6, 2015, around 10:00 PM, a witness in Conde-sur-Aisne briefly saw through his skylight a gray triangle with orange-red lights at each corner. The object quickly disappeared to the west in a straight trajectory. No other testimonies or confirmations were collected. Due to the short duration of the sighting and lack of precise details, investigators from GEIPAN considered it could be an optical illusion known as a "Gestalt illusion." This phenomenon can make a set of light points appear as a defined shape. Additionally, the "phenomenal speed" disappearance might have simply been the lights turning off. Possible sources include lanterns, aircraft, or satellites. The lack of precise data and a broad time window prevented a more thorough investigation. Ultimately, the case was classified as "C," meaning unexplained but without conclusive evidence of an unidentified phenomenon.
