Summary

On the night of August 5, 2015, a witness reported a bright point moving across the sky. The object, described as very luminous, was seen during its final trajectory, which led to some confusion due to perceived zigzag movements. However, subsequent analysis concluded that it was the International Space Station (ISS), which was particularly visible that night. The perception of zigzags was attributed to an optical illusion known as autokinesis, common when observing very bright objects in darkness. Despite the initial ambiguity, the case was classified as "A" by the GEIPAN, indicating a clear observation of a known space object.
