On a night in August 2015, a witness in Moins observed a formation of about fifty small white and gray disks moving silently across the sky. The phenomenon was seen with the naked eye and binoculars for around 10 minutes. The objects moved slowly with an irregular wobbling motion along a straight trajectory. Some gradually separated from the main group, disappearing slowly from the witness's field of view. Despite the duration and number of objects, no other witnesses were reported.
The GEIPAN, which classifies this case as "B," suggests it was likely a set of helium-filled luminous balloons used in a private celebration. Their white and later grayish color, along with their slow, wobbling movement, fits this explanation. Additionally, the light wind recorded in the area would explain their path. Although no other testimonies or physical evidence were found, the most plausible explanation points to a nearby festive event. The lack of further information makes it difficult to confirm other hypotheses.
