On the night of August 23 to 24, 2015, several witnesses in Paris observed an intense red light in the sky. Two individuals independently reported the phenomenon with consistent details. The first noticed the light on August 23 starting at 23:25, describing a constant glow that slightly moved before returning to its original position. He took photos with his phone and observed it until 1:00 a.m. A second witness, on August 24 at 00:58, saw a red ball for 10 minutes to the northwest. He also took photos and noticed the object had vanished upon returning to the window. Investigations concluded the phenomenon was likely a powerful red laser directed from a building, whose light reflected on fog or clouds created the illusion of an unidentified object. Despite the light's persistence for over an hour and a half, the conventional explanation fits well with the collected data.
