Toulouse 2015 UFO classified as B

Summary

On August 4, 2015, several witnesses in Toulouse observed two round, reddish-orange luminous objects moving silently in a straight line across the sky. The objects passed over the roof of a house before disappearing. Later, a third object appeared, but its brightness gradually decreased. Although witnesses searched the area, they found no traces of it. Only one testimony was collected, describing features similar to those of Thai lanterns. The described movement, from north to south, aligns with the local weather conditions, where the prevailing wind also moved in that direction. Additionally, the description of the third object, which faded slowly, is consistent with the behavior of a lantern as it extinguishes. For these reasons, the GEIPAN classified the case as B, indicating a probable observation of Thai lanterns.
