Orange and white lights over Saint-Georges-de-Didon (France)

Summary

On August 29, 2015, a family observed orange and white lights moving silently across the sky. Some lights gradually disappeared, while others vanished in different directions. The witness provided a brief account and no correlation with wind conditions could be made. GEIPAN investigators considered the lights similar to Thai lanterns, possibly launched after a private celebration. The pattern of lights fading away supports this hypothesis, leading to a classification as likely non-UFO.
