🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On September 26, 2015, at 3:00 PM, a witness in Vosges observed five white points slowly approaching for about five minutes, without any noise. The objects were flying in formation, heading southeast, and disappeared after entering a cloud. The only testimony collected suggested the objects seemed to come from Remoncourt, northeast of the observer. After analyzing weather conditions and the date, the GEIPAN concluded it was likely a sighting of balloons released during an event, such as a wedding that took place in Remoncourt on the same day. No further investigation was conducted, and the case was classified as "B," meaning it was explained as a balloon sighting.
