UFO seen in France with plane noises

Summary

A witness in France heard the noise of plane engines and saw several luminous balls moving rapidly in different directions. Two planes were flying near these lights. The witness noticed a similar phenomenon the previous week, on September 14, and considered this new observation a logical continuation. Both times, around 22:30, from the same location, he accurately described military air operations, mentioning planes and their noises and trails. The witness linked the events to recent exercises of Rafale jets near the coast, flying at low altitude.

On September 14, the witness heard two loud and distinct sounds, like missiles or fireworks, which made him look out the window. He saw an object described as a spherical ball that emitted a luminous curtain toward the ground. On September 23, he observed between 4 and 5 luminous balls, much brighter than stars, moving rapidly in different directions, like a "ballet." Two planes with white trails were near these lights. The phenomenon lasted between 1 and 2 minutes, and the lights disappeared quickly, leaving only the planes visible. The observation area matches a military low-altitude flight zone. The GEIPAN classified both cases as planes, as the phenomena could be explained by military exercises, such as the use of signal flares or infrared decoys.
