🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On November 7, 2015, a witness in the Indre region observed a stationary luminous phenomenon in an overcast sky. The light, green and red in color, appeared to flicker and caused an unusual noise in their nearby electric meter. The observation lasted 20 minutes, though intermittently. The GEIPAN concluded it was likely the star Sirius, visible in that direction and elevation. The witness's altered perception, combined with weather and atmospheric conditions, explain the unusual appearance. Classification B indicates it's a probable observation of a known star.
