UFO in Marseille 2014

Summary

In September 2014, a witness in Marseille observed a bright object in the sky at dawn. The object, described as a grayish oval, made circles before disappearing into a cloud. The witness took a photo showing a luminous shape with a faint white trail. Although there were no other witnesses, the GEIPAN concluded it was likely an airplane. At sunrise, airplanes can reflect sunlight intensely, creating optical illusions that appear strange. The white trail is also common for airplanes, although the movements described by the witness are unusual.
