Fireball observed in France in 2014

Summary

On March 31, 2014, at around 22:33, several witnesses across different regions of France observed a luminous phenomenon in the sky. Three testimonies were collected in Strasbourg, Peigney, and Rombas, all describing a bright object. The event was also reported on specialized sites in both France and Germany. The data allowed the reconstruction of the atmospheric entry trajectory of the object. The GEIPAN classified the case as category A, attributing it to the entry of meteoroids.
