UFO in Peigney (France) 2016

Summary

On August 17, 2016, a witness in Peigney (France) observed from his terrace an orange light phenomenon in the west near the ground. He saw a large luminous shape that was stationary, accompanied by three smaller glowing spheres that appeared to rotate around it. The witness estimated the phenomenon to be about 2 km away and observed it for 2 to 3 minutes. Upon returning with his camera, the phenomenon had vanished. The GEIPAN classified the case as type B, suggesting it could be a farming vehicle or a regular vehicle with people moving around with flashlights. The witness mentioned a similar observation in the same area in 2012, reinforcing the hypothesis of a terrestrial explanation.
