On the night of October 19, 1954, several military personnel in Doullens (France) observed an unusual aerial phenomenon under a cloudy sky. A sergeant, a corporal, and a soldier, among others, saw a green luminous object that appeared suddenly, moved quickly, and changed color. The observation was divided into three phases: in the first, the object emerged from the clouds and moved eastward without making noise. In the second, it stopped over a specific area and remained there for several minutes, oscillating and changing color. In the third phase, it returned to its origin and disappeared into the clouds. Although the possibility of it being the Moon or an aircraft was considered, the characteristics of the phenomenon did not match any conventional explanation. It was classified as D1, meaning an unidentified phenomenon.
