UFO observed in Haguenau in 2018

Summary

In May 2018, a witness in Haguenau observed a bright cylindrical object and a black sphere in the sky. The object was moving southeast without making noise, which intrigued the witness. Although there were no other testimonies, the witness took three photos of the phenomenon. This case is interesting because the witness, familiar with UFO phenomena, was seeking a clear explanation. However, upon analyzing the images, it was concluded that the object was actually a commercial airplane. The position of the sun and the witness's perspective created a misleading appearance, where only the reflective part of the fuselage was visible, without visible wings. A reconstruction using specialized tools confirmed that the airplane was at a height consistent with the observation, closing the case as a conventional aerial phenomenon.
