Two red points in the sky over Martigues

Summary

On December 2, 2018, a driver noticed two bright red points in the overcast sky. Upon arriving at his destination, he took photos and a video with his phone. He then saw the objects ascend along the same path and disappear into the clouds. No noise was heard during the observation. The GEIPAN concluded it was likely a sighting of Thai lanterns.
