Summary

In July 1969, the National Research Council of Canada received several reports of unidentified flying objects. One notable case occurred in Storeytown, New Brunswick, where a bright diamond-shaped object was observed by multiple witnesses. The object moved slowly northeast and remained visible for about 45 minutes. Initially thought to be a weather balloon, its identity could not be confirmed. In another incident in Vancouver, a man reported a bright red object moving slowly over the airport. The RCMP investigated and concluded there was no conventional explanation for the sighting.
