In August 1975, a family in Manitoba, Canada, reported a UFO they observed during the night. Penny Walker, a 14-year-old girl, saw a bright, round object moving slowly northward. Despite the cloudy skies and a full moon, Walker was certain it was not an airplane or a shooting star. The officer who investigated the case confirmed that she seemed sincere and there were no signs of a hoax.
This case was reported to the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and included in an official report. Additionally, another incident in Calgary involved six people who observed an oval-shaped object with flashing lights and a luminous halo. The witnesses, although with limited English proficiency, appeared genuine and excited. The object was observed for over five hours, suggesting a detailed and prolonged observation.
