Summary

In January 1977, multiple witnesses in the Yukon Territory reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object (UFO). The incident occurred while Steve Binder was driving from Keno City to Elsa, where he observed an object with a bright white light, flames, and sparks of the same color. Binder stopped his vehicle and noted that the object moved rapidly in different directions, without emitting any sound. Later, other witnesses, including Drago Kokanov, confirmed having seen the same phenomenon from different locations, describing an oval-shaped object with changing colored lights and unpredictable movements.

The object was observed for approximately 20 minutes, and several witnesses, such as John Hevessi, Phil Balcom, and Louis Hochet, also confirmed seeing it. The RCMP investigated the case and found no aerial activity in the area. Despite the multiple sightings, there was no clear explanation for the phenomenon, generating local interest. The National Research Council of Canada was contacted to analyze the case, but no definitive conclusion was reached.
