🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1947, Hackensack, New Jersey, became the site of a UFO incident that caught the attention of military authorities. A report reached the hands of the army, who responded with a formal letter, albeit filled with transcription errors. The document mentions the impossibility of identifying the phenomenon with known objects such as birds, balloons or planes. Despite the technical limitations of the time, a more in-depth investigation was requested. The case was framed within the context of Project Grudge, an Air Force initiative to study reports of unidentified flying objects.
