In April 1997, in Penarth, two unidentified flying objects were reported. Witnesses described two extremely bright crafts with no clear shape, oscillating in an elliptical pattern before splitting into opposite directions. The sighting occurred between 22:00 and 23:00 from the local marina and lasted about two minutes. Weather conditions were clear, with no clouds or visual obstructions.
