Summary

This document examines the correlation between unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and meteor activity in the UK from 1995 to 1997. Data on UAP sightings were analyzed in relation to periods of high and low solar activity, as well as meteor showers. While no direct correlation with solar activity was found, a significant link emerged with meteor activity. The data showed that UAP sighting peaks coincided with meteor shower peaks, suggesting that some UAP could be explained by the formation of gaseous plasmas from meteorites. Additionally, witnesses—both professional and non-professional—were generally reliable, and sightings were not attributable to optical errors or demographic factors like age or gender.
