🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1948, several witnesses in Ashley and Delaware, Ohio, reported seeing an unidentified object in the sky. They described a white, spherical or elongated object with vapor trails, moving slowly in a southeasterly direction. Initially thought to be an aircraft or a meteor, the reports consistently noted no sound or exhaust trails. The object maintained its shape and direction for several minutes without maneuvering. Investigators concluded it could have been a persistent cloud or atmospheric phenomenon, but witnesses insisted it didn't behave like a normal cloud. This case is a classic example of how firsthand accounts can be challenging to explain with known natural phenomena.
