🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1950, a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot reported a mysterious unidentified object near Datil, New Mexico. The incident included seven photographs showing a bright and enigmatic object in the sky. Although the pilot attempted to approach it, the object vanished suddenly. The images and testimony are considered relevant to the study of unexplained aerial phenomena from that era.
The Datil case adds to other sightings from the 1950s, a period marked by frequent UFO reports and widespread public interest. Despite efforts to identify the object, no conventional explanation was found. The photographs, though low quality by today's standards, remain a subject of analysis for ufologists and enthusiasts of the unknown.
