🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1949, several soldiers at Camp Hood, Texas, reported the presence of unidentified lights in the sky. Witnesses described between three and four lights, in yellow and red colors, appearing on different occasions. These lights did not emit sound and did not move in a conventional way, causing confusion among observers. Patrols in the area attempted to investigate, but found no logical explanation for the phenomenon. Testimonies agreed that the lights did not appear to be airplanes or known objects.
The observations occurred at different times of the day and in nearby locations, suggesting it was not an isolated error. The involved soldiers were considered reliable, and no abnormal weather conditions were reported that could explain the lights. Despite immediate investigations, no cause was found for the unidentified aerial objects. Official records indicate the case was considered of interest, but no definitive conclusion was reached.
