🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1949, a construction company owner in Dillon, Montana, reported seeing an object described as a flying saucer. The object was metallic, shiny on top and blue-gray on the bottom, and moved in a semi-circular rocking motion without leaving any exhaust or sound. Three other witnesses corroborated the sighting, though they differed slightly in the estimated size. The official investigation concluded the object was unidentified.
The report noted the object had no visible fins or openings and moved at speeds exceeding 1000 miles per hour, appearing to blur. Witnesses were deemed reliable by local authorities and community members. Despite reviewing weather conditions and wind patterns, no conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon.
