🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1949, a witness in Dayton, Ohio, observed a white object that appeared like a very high parachute in the sky. The object moved in a straight line at high speed, without performing any maneuvers. It was visible for at least two miles before disappearing behind trees. Although initially thought to be a parachute, its size and behavior did not match the usual. Investigators reviewed possible test device launches, but found no clear explanations.
The report includes detailed descriptions of the object, its bright color and round shape, as well as its direction and duration of observation. Despite no sounds or visible trails, the object was clearly seen from a car moving at about 35-40 mph. The observer's testimony was considered credible, and it was noted that they were not wearing polarized glasses or viewing the object through a window. The case remains unresolved and is kept as an example of unidentified aerial objects.
