🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A CAA radio operator in Elko, Nevada, spotted three white disk-shaped objects flying in a Y formation. On May 2, 1949, at 10:15 AM, he observed the objects at around 14,000 feet altitude, moving southwest. He described them as flat, metallic, and approximately 30 feet in diameter. The objects maintained formation for two minutes before turning left, accelerating, and vanishing. The witness, experienced with aircraft, couldn’t identify them as conventional objects. There was no sound or visible exhaust, and no additional witnesses were found. Despite investigations, no conventional explanation emerged for the event.
