In May 1949, a woman in Dayton, Ohio, observed an object reflecting sunlight. She described it as round and flat, like a disc, moving at high speed toward the northeast. The object had a shiny side with a golden or bronze color. Although no photos or physical evidence were taken, the witness stated it was larger and faster than any conventional aircraft.

The report notes that the object gradually climbed while continuously oscillating, as if "flipping over."
