🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1949, a truck driver in Tucson, Arizona, observed a white object shaped like a football bladder that changed to flat. The object reflected sunlight and moved slowly, making a 90-degree turn and rapidly ascending before disappearing. The witness provided a detailed description of the object's size, shape, and behavior, making it a notable report from that era.
The report, later downgraded to non-sensitive, includes testimonies from multiple observers, including an airman, who all agreed on the object's characteristics. Despite investigations, no physical evidence or conventional explanations were found, keeping the case in the category of unidentified aerial phenomena.
