🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1949, a military technician in Tucson, Arizona, observed two silver, flat objects flying at high speed. They appeared suddenly above his home, maintaining a precise formation at around 10,000 feet. The witness, an experienced aircraft mechanic, described an unusual flight: the objects sharply turned northeast, maintaining a speed estimated between 750 and 1000 mph. They left no trail or sound and vanished without explanation. Despite a local investigation, no witnesses or conventional explanations were found.
The observer's account was detailed and consistent. The objects showed no visible propulsion mechanisms or conventional structures. Their shiny, symmetrical appearance and unpredictable behavior raised doubts about their nature. The report concluded they were unidentified, emphasizing the witness's reliability and the lack of alternative explanations. This case adds another mystery to the history of UFO sightings in the 1940s.
