🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in Boise, Idaho, reported in May 1949 the sighting of six unidentified flying objects. Five of them were in a V formation, with a silver and black color, moving southwest. The classified Air Force report concluded they were conventional aircraft, but the detailed testimony of the observer, a journalist with aviation experience, included precise descriptions of maneuvers and behavior. Although no conclusive physical or photographic evidence was found, the case remains an example of how UFO reports were investigated during the Cold War.
